Apply for the label
One regional standard, executed locally. The label applies to a defined entity, service, venue or outlet — never automatically to an entire corporate group — and published status is always evidence-based.
Common minimum criteria
- Governance
- Named copyright focal point, an internal policy, briefed staff and supplier clauses.
- Licensing
- Valid public-performance, broadcast or neighbouring-rights licences for every use.
- Sourcing
- Music obtained from lawful services, with records retained.
- Reporting
- Playlists, cue sheets or set lists submitted on an agreed cycle.
- Creator terms
- Written engagement terms for performers, with attribution and agreed fees.
Recognition pathway

- 2Self-assessment against the CFL criteria, with a country focal point assigned.
- 3Documentary verification of licences, contracts and reporting practice.
- 4Publication of your scope, level and validity period in the public registry.
- 5Ongoing monitoring, a complaints channel and proportionate spot checks.
- 6Remediation, suspension or withdrawal where criteria are not maintained — with a route of appeal.
