Football fashion

Kits, kanga and kitenge prints, supporter wear, beadwork and textile art — football's visual culture is designed by someone, and that someone holds rights. This collection names every designer, declares the rights status of every piece and publishes the terms on which its imagery may be used.

Buying for the tournament

Sourcing merchandise without stealing design

Guidance for hotels, fan zones, sponsors and federations procuring garments, uniforms and giveaways around AFCON 2027.

  • Buy from a named designer or collective — if no one is credited, no one is being paid.
  • Ask for a written licence before reproducing any print, motif or kit design.
  • Never commission bulk merchandise that copies a registered design or an unlicensed tournament mark.
  • Include design credit in signage, menus, packaging and social posts.
  • Report counterfeits through the CFL secretariat so the designer can act.

Submit your design

Open to designers, tailors, textile artists and craft collectives in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. We verify authorship before publishing, and the designer keeps every right they came in with.
